Nippon Steel Plans BF Restart on Improving Demand
10/06/2020 - Japan’s Nippon Steel Corp. will restart a blast furnace that was idled earlier this year due to pandemic-driven declines in demand, reports commodities news and pricing service Argus.
According to Argus, recovering demand is prompting the steelmaker to return the No. 2 furnace at its Kimitsu facility to service.
