08/06/2026 - Nippon Steel raised United States Steel Corporation’s 2026 fiscal year business profit guidance to US$1.14 billion due to U.S. market recovery and plant upgrades, reported ManufacturingDive.
Nippon Steel said various upgrades to U. S. Steel facilities including relining a blast furnace, upgrading the hot strip mill in Gary, Ind., USA, and multiple other projects are attributed to the revision, ManufacturingDive reported.
