Nippon Steel Reports Successful H2 Injection Trial

02/14/2024 - Nippon Steel Corp. reduced blast furnace CO2 emissions by 33% during a month-long hydrogen injection trial, the company has reported.

According to Hydrogen Insight, the trial was carried out on a small-scale test furnace and utilized technology from the COURSE50 initiative.
