According to a company press release, the agreement includes “bilateral electricity (capacity) contracts and joint demand response efforts” as well as supplying low-carbon energy from Rosenergoatom to Stoilensky’s new metals and mining facility being developed by NLMK Group.

NLMK Group and Rosenergoatom’s continued cooperation in low-carbon energy supply and demand also aligns with one of NLMK Group’s main initiatives of reducing carbon and greenhouse gas emissions, the company said.
