NLMK Launches New Coated Galvanized Steel
10/05/2021 - The Russian steelmaker today unveiled its new galvanized steel product for the construction and electrical industries, which features a more corrosion-resistant and eco-friendly coating.
The coating, applied after the galvanizing process, provides improved corrosion resistance via anti-corrosive pigments that are based on chemical compounds.
NLMK said it expects to produce about 100,000 metric tons of the new product per year.
