NLMK Recognized for Annual Report
11/29/2010 - NLMK’s 2009 Annual Report has won awards in several national contests held this year. The company won the RA Expert Rating Agency contest for Best Annual Report (Non-Financial Sector) and came first among steelmaking companies in the contest of annual reports and corporate websites organized by Securities Market magazine in cooperation with the MICEX Stock Exchange.
NLMK’s 2009 Annual Report has won awards in several national contests held this year. The company won the RA Expert Rating Agency contest for Best Annual Report (Non-Financial Sector).
The company also came first among steelmaking companies in the 8th yearly federal contest of annual reports and corporate websites organized by Securities Market magazine in cooperation with the MICEX Stock Exchange. In addition, its annual report was ranked third at the 8th contest of annual reports held by RTS Exchange for best design and printing quality.
In September, NLMK claimed second place in the Industrial sector category at the open annual report contest for joint-stock companies that took place in the Krasnodar Territory.
The company says that it aims to apply the best global practices in terms of the disclosure of information, development of a stronger investment case, and compliance with international corporate accounting standards.
