The companies said the layout allows for production of high-strength steels and thermomechanical controlled processed grades. With the specialty steel grades, the company can serve the infrastructure, industrial and automotive sectors. 

The Bureau of Indian Standards recognized the facility as the first TSCR plant in India to receive the license for hot-rolled steel for welded steel pipes for pipeline transportation in compliance with their standards.
