NS-SUS Completes Installation of New Danieli Coil-Handling Cranes
08/24/2026 - Danieli announced NS-SIAM United Steel (NS-SUS) has completed commissioning for two of its coil-handling cranes at Plant 3 in Rayong, Thailand.
Danieli’s subsidiary, Danieli Centro Cranes, supplied the new 25-metric-ton machines to replace an 11-metric-ton crane. The new cranes can handle coils weighing up to 20 metric tons. The scope of supply also included technical assistance from the company’s service team.
Commissioning included load testing, functional verification of all crane systems, and operator and maintenance training. The companies said the cranes had full compliance with Danieli’s operational and safety standards during the tests. They are ready to be integrated with the Danieli Yard Management System for fully automatic coil handling.
NS-SUS gave Danieli final acceptance after the successful commissioning.
