NSA Honors TMS International With 42 Safety Awards
09/23/2025 - TMS International received 42 safety awards from the National Slag Association (NSA) for its sites in the U.S. and Canada.
The NSA safety awards recognize superior performance in recordable injury rate, measured against U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
“The company has no greater priority than the safety and security of its employees, customers, facilities and the communities in which we operate,” said Joel Hawthorne, president and chief executive officer of TMS.
One of the awards included the NSA Safety Award for the most improved facility for TMS’ Cleveland, Ohio, site.
