Nucor Expects Record Third-Quarter Earnings
09/16/2021 - In announcing guidance for its third quarter, Nucor Corp. today said its earnings are expected to be the highest quarterly earnings in the company’s history.
For the quarter ending 2 October 2021, Nucor said it expects earnings to be in the range of US$7.30 to US$7.40 per diluted share. This surpasses the previous record set in the second quarter of 2021 of US$5.04 per diluted share. The company’s forecasts indicate that its fourth-quarter results will likely to continue along this trend.
In a press release, Nucor cited strong demand across most end-use markets along with higher average selling prices.
