Pacific Steel Opts for Danieli Emissions Abatement Technology
10/28/2025 - Pacific Steel Group will incorporate Danieli’s air emissions abatement technology into its planned California micro-mill, the company has announced.
According to Danieli, Pacific Steel will integrate ECO technology into the facility, equipping it to more effectively reduce NOx, SOx, filterable and condensable particulate matter, and volatile organic compounds.
“The equipment will be designed with the provision for installation of a carbon capture system, as a step toward furthering environmentally sustainable steel production. This project will be an important milestone in green steel manufacturing and will set the bar for the future,” Danieli said in a statement.
