POSCO Looks to Begin Work on Pilot DRI Plant
05/30/2023 - POSCO is set to break ground on a pilot-scale direct reduction plant that utilizes hydrogen, reports The Korea Economic Daily newspaper.
According to The Economic Daily, the plant, which utilizes a process that allows sinter fines to be converted to iron, will be able to produce 300,000 metric tons annually.
The facility is to be built at POSCO’s Pohang steel complex.
