Posco to Host Technology Expo for European Automakers

Posco announced plans to hold technology expositions for European automakers in November. The expositions aim to promote Posco’s technological advantages in auto materials and broaden global sales channels in line with the automakers’ plans for global expansion.

The expositions will provide opportunities for Posco to showcase its steel technology and environmental activities, and to provide detailed information on auto material products and technology services. They will be held at Renault’s office in Guyancourt Cedex of France and at Fiat’s office in Piemonte Torino of Italy.

The company is also planning theme-specific technology seminars for strengthening technology cooperation with clients. Posco Specialty Steel, Posco C&C and other Posco group affiliates related to the automotive industry will also help to promote Posco’s technology and quality.

Posco held previous technology expositions in 2009 and 2010 at four major automaker clients in Japan including Toyota and Honda.

Posco also is planning to advance its Early Vendor Involvement program, an exclusive marketing initiative designed to target a limited range of clients. It will be replaced with the Expanded Value Initiative, which aims for clients across all industries.
