The companies said this is the first PLTCM project for the new EnerX converter family. The scope includes level 1 and 2 automation systems and the EnerX medium- and low-voltage drives. The process optimization system will have self-learning algorithms based on neural networks. It will also feature solutions for thickness control and flatness optimization. 

The companies said they want to continue cooperating by developing more solutions for the metals sector.
