Primetals Technologies Selected to Supply Two Green Production Lines for Xuân Thiện Group
12/18/2025 - Vietnamese industrial company Xuân Thiện Group has selected Primetals Technologies to supply a production line for heavy plate and one for endless hot-rolled coils (eHRC) in Ninh Bình, Vietnam.
Primetals Technologies said the production line for heavy plates will include an EAF Ultimate electric arc furnace, a twin ladle furnace, a twin vacuum degassing plant, a continuous slab caster and a plate Steckel mill.
The second production line for eHRC will have two EAF Ultimate furnaces, two twin ladle furnaces, two twin vacuum degassing plants and Arvedi ESP technology.
Primetals Technologies said it will be the technology partner and provide advanced solutions, engineering and key plant components for the project.
Xuân Thiện Group said the partnership is part of its “green steel ecosystem” it is developing. The project will combine EAF technology with ironmaking facilities based on clean energy sources including natural gas and hydrogen in the future.
