Primetals Technologies to Provide Digitalization Solution to Shanxi Jingang
02/03/2026 - Primetals Technologies announced it has agreed to provide an advanced digitalization solution to Shanxi Jingang New Materials Technology’s new Arvedi ESP line for its facility in Jincheng, China.
The companies said the solution will include through-process quality control (TPQC), asset life expert (ALEX) and the ESP scheduler.
“The ESP production line is central to our transformation, reflecting our pursuit of efficiency, premium products, and comprehensive digitalization,” said Li Qiang, chairman of Shanxi Jingang.
ALEX provides asset monitoring and recommendations for service, maintenance and operation. TPQC gives continuous visibility regarding product quality and guides operators and inspectors to address defects and corrective actions. The ESP scheduler generates schedules for the line based on production orders.
“This digitalization solution will help Shanxi Jingang realize its high-end product strategy on the Arvedi ESP line. We are committed to making this project a benchmark for China’s steel industry and look forward to further collaboration with Shanxi Jingang in advancing green, intelligent, and premium product development,” said Tomislav Koledic, chief executive officer of Primetals Technologies China.
