“The Final Acceptance Certificate announced today marks the culmination of years of close collaboration with Tata Steel to develop and implement a solution for one of its largest steelmaking facilities… The system installed for Tata Steel covers an area equivalent to a football field and spans the height of a five-story building,” said P. Peter Pascali, president and chief executive officer of PyroGenesis. 

The project involved the development and supply of coke oven gas purification solutions and hydrogen production processes. The company said that PGG passed all the required project milestones including an integrated cold test and provisional acceptance test. 

After the completion of the project, a one-year compliance and defects liability period went into effect. During that time, system performance was monitored and PGG was responsible to address any operational issues. 
Tata Steel decided to issue the final acceptance certificate, confirming PGG’s completion of the project.
