Red Bud Delivers Cut-to-Length Line With Stretcher Leveler to McNeilus Steel
10/23/2026 - Red Bud Industries announced it installed a heavy gauge cut-to-length line with a T3 stretcher leveler to McNeilus Steel Inc.’s facility in Morrison, Tenn., USA.
The companies said the system can operate in start/stop mode when running thicker materials and in looping mode for thinner material, increasing productivity and throughput while stretching.
The line features Red Bud’s Pop Top Precision Straightener, allowing the top crown and work rolls to be opened by the push of a button for cleaning or maintenance. The prime shear has a quick-change blade to minimize downtime during changes. The stretcher leveler also has a powered gripper extraction system.
The full list of new equipment includes a dual stub uncoiler, peeler, pop top precision straightener, rotating brush dust collector system, thread system, 40-ft. T3 stretcher leveler, servo roll feed, variable rake shear with quick-change blades, a 40-ft. heavy-gauge drop stacker and floor rollout conveyors.
