Red Dot Products Taps Red Bud for Light-Gauge Slitting Line
09/24/2025 - Metal building products supplier Red Dot Products has ordered a Red Bud Industries light-gauge slitting line for its Ephrata, Pa., USA, location.
Red Bud said the line is rated for up to 0.61 mm thick by 1.2 mm wide and 15,000-lb. coil capacity. It features a pack arbor slitting head, four arm tooling turnstile and quick-change divider tolling for efficient setup changes.
Edge trim scrap will be collected by a scrap winder that can empty with the push of a button. An exit shear allows the line to be started quickly after a coil is broken for weight or linear footage.
The company said productivity will be monitored using a time tracker.
