Report: Germany to Back SHS Decarbonization Effort
12/13/2023 - The German government intends to provide EUR2.6 billion in funding for Staar-Holding Saar’s (SHS) planned decarbonization project, according to Kallanish.
“This is momentous news for Saarland’s steel industry. It enables us to make a historic transition in production,” said Stefan Rauber, chairman of SHS and chief executive of Dillinger and Saarstahl.
