Report: Hyundai Eyes Louisiana for Steel Mill
01/07/2025 - Hyundai Motor Group is exploring the possibility of building a steel mill in Louisiana, reports The Korea Economic Daily.
Citing industry sources, the newspaper said the project is intended as a hedge against President-elect Donald Trump’s protectionist policies. The company also has been looking at sites in Georgia and Texas.
