Report: Nucor Eyes Sunshine State for US$227 Million Investment
02/05/2018 - Nucor Corp. reportedly is considering building a US$227 million facility in central Florida, according to The (Lakeland, Fla.) Ledger.
According to The Ledger, Polk County commissioners are to vote on a tax abatement plan for the facility this week. The newspaper didn’t describe the facility; however, Nucor has said it is eyeing a second micro-mill in the southeastern U.S.
