Romanian Mill Adds Coating Line
09/21/2017 - Romanian steelmaker ArcelorMittal Galati has completed EUR15 million upgrades to its facility, allowing it to produce a new family of organic coated coils.
The investment entailed improvements to its galvanizing line and installation of a new coating line, capable of producing 90,000 metric tons annually.
"We are proud to open a totally new industrial activity in our unit, which will deliver high-added-value products. This shows ArcelorMittal's commitment to Galati and to Romania," said ArcelorMittal Galati – Skopje chief executive Bruno Ribo in a statement.
