Severstal Mourns Loss of Board Member

OAO Severstal announced the sudden death of Anatoly Kruchinin, member of Severstal’s Board of Directors and deputy CEO of SeverGroup.
Kruchinin, 51, began his career at Severstal in 1982 and was CEO of Cherepovets Steel Mill between 2002 and September 2010. He was also head of the Severstal Russian Steel division between 2006 and September this year.
Alexey Mordashov, CEO of OAO Severstal, said: “We are deeply saddened by the sudden and unexpected death of our colleague Anatoly Kruchinin. We will miss him not only as a valued colleague, but as a wonderful person. On behalf of the Board and the entire company, I would like to extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to his family at this difficult and sad time.”
