Severstal Responds to Speculation of Sale of Severstal North America
05/14/2014 - Severstal released a statement on media speculation that the company is looking to divest its U.S. operations in Dearborn, Mich., and Columbus, Miss.
The statement says: “Remaining fully committed to maximising value creation for its shareholders, OAO Severstal announces that it is considering a range of strategic options in relation to Severstal North America. Severstal confirms that no decision has yet been taken as to which, if any, such option might be pursued.”
