to Vote
on Revised Agreement with DSC
March 31, 2004 — Members of the United Steelworkers' Local 4752 will meet Wednesday, March 31, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. to review and vote on revisions to an agreement reached in late February with Delaware Street Capital, the court-approved purchaser of bankrupt Slater Steel's Hamilton Specialty Bar Division.
The plant will be shut down from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. to allow everyone to attend the meeting at the Steelworkers' Barton Street hall. Union members can vote until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the hall, or on Thursday, April 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., or 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the plant (Brown and Boggs).
No details of the revisions will be officially released until the Wednesday meeting.
