As of 1 April 2012, Parkegate is pleased to confirm that it became a fully owned SMS Group company following the company’s acquisition by SMS Siemag AG.

Since their establishment in 1996, Parkegate have successfully offered the supply of new plant and equipment upgrades for rolling mills and process lines in both the ferrous and non-ferrous industries. The full range of these services, covering engineering, modernisation, studies and relocation of existing equipment, will continue under the new ownership, backed by the strength of SMS Siemag AG.

With a strong synergy to their existing business, the acquisition of Parkegate strengthens the position of SMS Siemag AG as the leading metallurgical plant supplier.
