SMS Siemag to Supply Henan Zhongfu with Hot Rolling Mill
11/29/2010 - Henan Zhongfu Industrial Co. Ltd., China, has placed an order with SMS Siemag for the erection of a 1+4-CVC® plus hot rolling mill at the Gogyi location. The hot rolling mill is to be integrated into a new works complex in which, primarily, aluminum hot strip will be rolled for beverage can production.
Henan Zhongfu Industrial Co. Ltd., China, has placed an order with SMS Siemag for the erection of a 1+4-CVC® plus hot rolling mill at the Gogyi location, West Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
The hot rolling mill is to be integrated into a new works complex in which, primarily, aluminum hot strip will be rolled for beverage can production. The hot rolling mill—designed for an annual capacity of over 760,000 tonnes—is scheduled to go into operation at the beginning of 2013.
SMS Siemag is supplying the reversing roughing stand and the four-stand finishing mill for the production of 2400-mm-wide aluminum hot strip with a minimum final gage of 1.8 mm. The four stands of the finishing mill are equipped with a hydraulic adjustment system, CVC® plus with integrated work-roll bending and multi-zone cooling.
In the entry section of the finishing mill, an ingot cooler for special products regulates the strip temperature to ensure high production. The company’s supply scope also includes light and heavy crop shears with scrap handling system, side trimmer, fume exhaust, uncoiler and coil conveyor as well as utility systems.
