South Korea Looks for Technological Solutions to Industrial Net Zero Strategy
02/28/2023 - South Korea will build a hydrogen-based direct reduction plant as part of a plan to achieve carbon neutrality in its industrial sector, reports commodities news and pricing service Argus.
According to Argus, the demonstration-scale plant will be designed to make 1 million metric tons annually and will precede commercialization of 3-million-metric-tons-per year units. The country also will expand industrial investment tax credits for carbon neutral technology, Argus said.
