In a statement, the company said the fully automatic welder will be part of a new direct rolling, annealing and pickling line that is being built for a stainless producer. The line will have an annual capacity of approximately 700,000 metric tons and will process cold-rolled, 200, 300 and 400 series stainless sheet.

Guild International said the welder will include an induction annealer and planisher.       

“This cutting-edge, fully automatic welder quickly produces seamless welds with zero overthickness using the latest in fiber laser technology,” the company said.
