Startup Lands Contract to Create Steel Tracking Blockchain
01/21/2020 - A Toronto, Ont., Canada-based startup has been awarded a Canadian government contract to develop a prototype blockchain for tracking steel through the supply chain.
According to the online CoinDesk, the CA$169,427 project was awarded to Mavennet, which is tasked with developing a digital tool that would trace upstream and downstream inputs and outputs in the steel supply chain in real time.
