OSHA Fines AK Steel for Hearing Hazard Violations at Butler
08 June 2011 - The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited AK Steel Corp. for record-keeping violations related to potential hearing hazards at its Butler Works facility in Butler, PA. Proposed penalties total $206,000.
U. S. Steel, Carnegie Pension Fund Announce Executive Changes
07 June 2011 - United States Steel and the trustee for its pension and other benefit plans, Carnegie Pension Fund, have announced that Gary A. Glynn, President of the fund since 1985, will retire effective July 31. Effective August 1, William Donovan, who currently serves as Vice President – Investments, will succeed Glynn as President.
