OSHA Issues Citations to AK Steel
07 October 2010 - The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has issued AK Steel five willful and three other-than-serious citations for failing to record occupational injuries at its Middletown facility. The company is facing proposed penalties of $53,000.

Latrobe Specialty Steel Announces Price Increase
06 October 2010 - Latrobe Specialty Steel will raise prices by an average of 5% on all air-melt grades, including tool steel and high speed steel. The increase takes effect with all new orders received beginning October 5.
