27 January 2010 - Nucor reports consolidated net earnings of $58.9 million on consolidated net sales of $2.94 billion for the fourth quarter and a consolidated net loss of $293.6 million on consolidated net sales of $11.19 billion for the full year 2009.

United States Steel Reports 4th Quarter, Full-Year Results

27 January 2010 - United States Steel Corp. reported a net loss of $267 million on net sales of $3.35 billion for the fourth quarter, and a net loss of $1,401 million on net sales of $11.05 billion for the full year 2009.

Severstal North America to Restart Facilities

26 January 2010 - As part of its North American 2010 operating plan, OAO Severstal plans to restart certain facilities that had been previously idled. Severstal Warren is scheduled to return to service its blast furnace, steelmaking, and hot strip mill facilities late in the first quarter of 2010.
