SunCoke Energy Estimates Domestic Coke Production Rose 3% in Q3
10/10/2014 - SunCoke Energy Inc. reported preliminary third quarter 2014 domestic coke production of 1,090,000 tons, up 31,000 tons versus the production of 1,059,000 tons in second quarter 2014.
								On a year-over-year basis, production was up an estimated 9,000 tons versus third quarter 2013 primarily due to higher production at the Granite City facility, reflecting better coal-to-coke yields. Indiana Harbor saw sequential quarter and year-over-year improvement, achieving production within our targeted range in third quarter 2014.
 
Domestic capacity utilization in third quarter 2014 is estimated to be 102% as compared to 101% in the same prior year period.
