Systems Spray-Cooled Celebrates Milestone Order
07/26/2019 - The Systems Group’s Systems Spray-Cooled division has reached a major milestone, delivering its 1,000th piece of equipment in its 33 years of making Spray-Cooled ™ furnace parts.
The component was part of an order from Nucor Steel–Berkeley, which contracted Systems Spray-Cooled for two new electric arc furnace roofs and two new elbows.
“The new steep sloped roofs and modernized elbows replace the original Spray-Cooled equipment supplied back in 1996 for Berkeley’s start-up, achieving 23 years of service life,” the company said in a statement.
The order comprised Systems Spray-Cooled’s 999th, 1,000th, 1,001st and 1,002nd components.
