Systems Spray-Cooled Lands Order from Planned Rebar Mill
12/11/2023 - Startup rebar maker Hybar LLC has contracted Systems Spray-Cooled to supply electric arc furnace equipment for its planned mill in Osceola, Ark., USA.
According to Systems Spray-Cooled, the order includes the furnace sidewall, roof, and elbow. The company also will supply a filtration system that promises improved longevity of the cooling equipment.
“I have purchased Spray-Cooled technology from The Systems Group on all of my steel mini-mill projects over the past 20 years, and I have full confidence that Systems will once again perform at the highest level,” said Hybar chief executive officer Dave Stickler.
