SYSTEMS Spray-Cooled Technology Selected for NOVACERO’s New EAF
10/19/2026 - The Systems Group announced its SYSTEMS Spray-Cooled® technology has been selected for use in South American steel producer NOVACERO’s new electric arc furnace (EAF) project in Ecuador.
The companies said the EAF will be supplied by Sidertech S.A. with the Spray-Cooled equipment made in Ecuador. The product’s exclusive representative in Latin America, Steel Infinity, is supporting development of the project and working alongside NOVACERO, SYSTEMS and Sidertech.
Start-up is scheduled for summer 2027, the companies said.
