Talley Metals to Raise Prices on Stainless Grades
05/20/2008 - Talley Metals will increase base prices approximately 3% on all stainless products beginning July 1, 2008 for all shipments.
Talley Metals has announced that it will increase base prices approximately 3% on all stainless products.
The company said the price increase is to help off-set rising manufacturing costs. It is effective on all shipments beginning July 1, 2008.
Talley Metals, a subsidiary of Carpenter Technology Corp., sells stainless steel long products, as well as standard precipitation-hardening grades, to U.S. metals distributors. Carpenter Technology, based in Wyomissing, Pa., produces and distributes specialty alloys, including stainless steels, titanium alloys, superalloys, and various engineered products.
