Tata Steel Expresses Interest in Purchasing RINL

08/18/2021 - According to its chief executive, Tata Steel is interested in acquiring state-owned Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. (RINL).

Operating under India’s Ministry of Steel, RINL owns a 7.3-million-metric-ton steelmaking plant in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The facility is India's first shore-based integrated steel plant.
