Taylor-Winfield Technologies Purchases George A. Mitchell Company
01/14/2026 - Taylor-Winfield Technologies Inc. announced its successful acquisition of the George A. Mitchell Company.
“Acquiring the George A. Mitchell technology allows us to preserve a respected legacy while adding a new line of products to the Taylor-Winfield Technologies in the tube and pipe industry,” said president of Taylor-Winfield Technologies Donnie Wells.
Based in Youngstown, Ohio, USA, Taylor-Winfield Technologies specializes in custom material joining, induction heating and automation solutions. With the purchase of the Boardman-based George A. Mitchell Company, they will now add push pointers, end-forming machines, and tooling for metal tube- and pipe-forming applications to their portfolio.
