Tenova I2S to Supply 4-High Reversing Mill in Uzbekistan
12/06/2010 - Tenova I2S has signed a contract for the supply of a new 75 & 320 x 310-mm 4-High Reversing Mill for APO Uzbek Metallurgical Plant in Bekabod, Uzbekistan. The mill is scheduled to be commissioned in 2011.
Tenova I2S has signed a contract for the supply of a new 75 & 320 x 310-mm 4-High Reversing Mill for APO Uzbek Metallurgical Plant in Bekabod, Uzbekistan. The company produces high-quality precision strip of copper and copper-based alloys.
The mill is equipped with the latest Tenova I2S automation and control systems, which produce precision strip to a minimum thickness of 0.03 mm. The mill includes Tenova I2S Automatic Gauge Control, Contact Thickness Gauges, AC Drives, and Mill Control Systems.
The new 4 High Reversing Mill produces copper and copper-based alloys from 0.5 to 0.03 mm thickness with a strip width range of 100 to 250 mm at speeds of 300 meters per minute.
The mill is scheduled to be commissioned in 2011.
