Tenova LOI Italimpianti to Supply Galvanizing Technology for ELSI Stalkonstruktsiya
09/22/2011 - ELSI Stalkonstruktsiya has awarded a contract to LOI Thermprocess for engineering services, equipment and systems for a new hot-dip galvanizing plant.
ELSI Stalkonstruktsiya, Russia, has awarded a contract to LOI Thermprocess for engineering services and the supply of various systems for a new galvanizing plant.
The LOI systems will form the core of a new hot-dip galvanizing plant built to the latest standards. ELSI is investing in the new galvanizing plant with the intention to improve the quality and durability of its products, with its main focus on the quality of galvanizing.
The LOI Thermprocess scope of supply comprises the natural gas fired galvanizing furnace, which will be heated by high-speed burners, as well as the galvanizing tank, advanced filter systems and heat exchangers. The new plant’s furnace will have a maximum capacity of 12 tonnes/hour, and the galvanizing tank will be 13 meters long, 3 meters deep and 1.8 meters wide.
LOI will also provide engineering work for the zinc tank housing and the drying furnace as well as the waste gas and waste air system, and the complete control and instrumentation system.
The new galvanizing plant is due to start production in July 2012.
