The Systems Group Tapped for EVRAZ Rocky Mountain Steel EAF Upgrade
02/10/2022 - The Systems Group has received an order for new electric arc furnace (EAF) spray cooling equipment and a comprehensive engineering package for EVRAZ North America’s Pueblo, Colo., USA, operations, the supplier announced this morning.
The Systems Group’s scope of supply will include brand-new Spray-CooledTM equipment for the EAF roof, elbow and sidewall along with a complete design and engineering package. The EAF equipment upgrade is part of EVRAZ Rocky Mountain Steel’s US$480 million rail mill expansion project currently under construction.
