To Survive, thyssenkrupp Turns Toward Another Business
06/21/2017 - Germany’s biggest steelmaker has a strategy that it hopes will allow it to succeed in a world awash in low-cost steel: make something other than steel.
According to the Bloomberg news service, thyssenkrupp AG has been investing heavily in its elevator unit, once a side business, and bringing new innovations to market, such as an elevator that moves sideways.
