To Survive the Trade War, Algoma Will Do What It Does Best — Make Plate
05/06/2025 - Against the backdrop of trade tensions with the U.S., Canadian sheet and plate producer Algoma will focus on increasing plate shipments from its recently modernized plate mill, reports Northern Ontario Business.
According to the publication, Algoma, Canada’s only plate producer, is anticipating shipments of around 100,000 metric tons in this quarter.
