Tsingshan, NRZ Partner to Expand Haulage in Zimbabwe
10/06/2026 - Tsingshan Holding Group’s steelmaking unit, Dinson Steel Co., in Zimbabwe partnered with the National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ) for expanded capacity of coal and steel hauling, Reuters reported.
The agreement includes hauling 600,000 metric tons of steel products from the Dinson plant to markets throughout Zimbabwe. They will also haul 1.1 million metric tons of coal from Hwange, reported Reuters.
They will upgrade the 80 km track between Gweru and Mvuma and then construct a 50 km track linking Mvuma to Dinson, Reuters said.
