U.S. Mills Expand Circumvention Claims Against Processed Sheet From Vietnam
06/14/2018 - U.S. producers are accusing their South Korean counterparts of circumventing anti-dumping duties by shipping coils to Vietnam for processing into cold-rolled and corrosion-resistant sheet, reports Metal Bulletin.
According to the industry publication, the producers say in a complaint to the U.S. Department of Commerce that Korean producers have adopted the same strategy as Chinese producers to circumvent duties.
