Voestalpine Invests EUR 25 Million in Linz Plant
07/09/2015 - According to a report by Oberösterreich News, Voestalpine plans to invest €25 million in a second plant for laser-welded blanks in Linz, Austria to meet greater demands in the auto industry.
Sales are expected to rise to €140 million, and the plant will create 70 new jobs. In addition, the company also plans to produce aluminum stampings and alloy blanks.
Production is expected to start mid-2016.
