West Virginia Regulators OK Power Line for Nucor Mill
03/07/2024 - The West Virginia Public Service Commission has greenlighted a plant to build a US$86 million power transmission line that will serve Nucor Corp.’s West Virginia sheet mill, reports the (Huntington, W.Va.) Herald-Dispatch newspaper.
According to the newspaper, the project includes two new 345-kilovolt parallel transmission lines, each about a mile long, and a 345-kilovolt transmission station.
